RID 3131 of which Rotary Kharghar is a part, has donated a well equipped mobile mammography van for the benefit of society and especially for villages where these facilities are not available. Cancer awareness camps were held at Murbi with support from doctors of ACTREC (TATA Cancer Hospital) and YMT Medical Trust, Kharghar. Camps were held before the mammography camps at these villages. Free mammography camps were held at Murbi near Kharghar. Medical checkups were carried out for 146 ladies and 44 underwent mammography tests. Villagers thanked Rotary Club as the mobile van made it very convenient for the ladies to undergo an important test at their doorsteps free of cost.
